Welcome to

Woven Roots

“In ancient times, young ones were not left to wander into adulthood alone.

They were sung across the threshold.”

— Toko-pa Turner —

A sacred space for girls to feel seen, supported, and rooted in who they are becoming.

What could our world be if we wrapped our girls—the future women of this earth—in steady love and wise guidance through the wild and tender years of becoming?

Woven Roots is a nature-based psychosocial group for girls and gender-expansive youth with female physiology, centered on the lived experience of puberty and early adolescence.

We offer a supportive, grounded space for listening inward, trusting the body, and walking with courage through the wild terrain of adolescence and into womanhood.

The Method

Our circles weave together sacred feminine archetypes, Waldorf-inspired rhythm, expressive arts, mindfulness, ritual, and embodied nature practices. All identities and emotional states are welcomed with warmth.

The Guides

Girls are guided through our Journey Through the Elements curriculum—exploring how earth, water, fire, and air are tools that live both within and around them.
